Problem: A leak to the drip tray and a fault related to brewing/water path.
Solution: The upper piston and relevant hoses/connections were identified as the fault area and serviced.

Problem: The machine started poorly, the motor burned out, and the pump/drivetrain faulted.
Solution: The motor and pump were replaced as part of the troubleshooting; the control board was then identified as the likely remaining fault.
